Summary/Abstract: Initially, it is necessary to note that human society now faces many challenges brought about by the contemporary period and its technological achievements. One of the possible solutions of how to eliminate this threat is to focus on those learning strategies that help to bridge the gap between an educational system and the needs of reality. The main inspiration for writing this paper is the desire to provide a few suggestions and insights into the sphere of foreign language teaching/learning, wherein the acquisition of abilities in the learning of foreign languages requiring cognitive skills, might work well together with the acquisition of non-cognitive skills to a great extent.
