Greetings from Kishegyes – Influence of the Military Memorial on Identity Forming

Summary/Abstract: In the author's research, the elements of constructing the local identity are considered on the example of Kishegyes. He sought to find out how the village community had succeeded to regain their past by rebuilding a memorial, as well as through the integration of the national and local history. In which way are the community reorganizing the space in the local cemetery and in the sacred area around the church.
