Searching for the ideal. Dilemmas of single man and woman

Summary/Abstract: Article is based on the analysis of research’s findings . Studies have complex characteristics. Principal part of the research was in-depth interviewing with the singles. In accordance to methods triangulation, the results of qualitative studies were examined using surveys. Research questions concentrate on single’s criteria of partner’s selection and expectations to intimate connection. The analysis was carried on the basis of the individualization theory formulated by U. Beck and E. Illouz.
