Summary/Abstract: This study was carried out to determine the relationship between academic procrastination behaviors and screen usage time of prospective teachers. The design of this study is corelational. The personal information form developed by the researcher and the “Academic Procrastination Scale developed by Ocak and Bulut (2015) were used as data collection tools. The study was carried out with 172 preservice teachers who are continuing pedagogical formation education program. At the end of the study, it was concluded that the pre-service teachers performed academic procrastination behavior at the middle and lower middle levels, the preservice teachers frequently checked their smartphones during the course and while they were studying, and a significant portion of those who checked their smartphones thought that this behavior reduced their academic efficiency. It was found that pre-service teachers who control their phones while studying are higher in the irresponsibility and academic perfectionism sub-dimensions
