Summary/Abstract: Characteristic for the history of humanity is the way people chose to solve conflicts: through violence. Where the stronger one, the better prepared one validates its truth in a way that represents a disadvantage for the weaker, the less prepared one. In the given study, based on Theodor Ebert’s work, we want to present the nonviolent resistance. Based on the examples that come with experience, we would like to formulate some traits, which represent a fundamental element in solving conflicts. Taking Pope Francis’ encouragement in consideration, we would like to find a place for this in the Social Teaching of Church, because we talk about a modality, which provides a chance for the victory of truth regarding the inevitable conflicts of the human society, without violence or putting people’s life in danger.
