Summary/Abstract: Entering the year 2000, the Christian world not only commemorates the jubilee of the birth of Jesus Christ, but it is also a good time to reflect on the very core of what we call "Christianity". We live in an environment imbued with Christian culture, everything from caliber in the mirror of a thousand years of evolving system of law, morality, traditions and customs - we encounter a living history without noticing it, but our "blindness" is not the reason for the non-existence of this fact. . How did this culture come into being, which we consider to be European and also call it? We generally accept theses on the foundations of antiquity, from Greece and the Roman Empire. If we look at the sources of European Christian culture, the Bible, also called the Holy Scriptures, the Book of Books, etc., undoubtedly comes first. But if we think about its origins, we begin to question the purely ancient foundations - we see here the Old and New Testaments, both books created in a non-European environment, moreover, the Old Testament completely without the possibility of the influence of antiquity.
