Family mausoleums as the Orthodox heritage in the Lodz voivodeship

Summary/Abstract: The settlement of the Orthodox population in the Lodz region was connected with the Russian administrative apparatus after the November and January Uprisings. The article will present the Orthodox family mausoleums located in the Lodz region. Due to a similar genesis, the family mausoleums situated in Jeżów, Chróścin and Uniejów were subject to analysis. The aim of the article is to determine the location, contemporary forms of ownership and the state of preservation of the studied objects in the cultural landscape.
