Summary/Abstract: Leaving the traditional role leads to building a new identity of women’s based on the choices made for their personal lives. However, it connects with the experience of traps and limitations. These include, among others, overlapping roles, changing in meaning of marriage, the labour market and the conflict between roles. Changes do not lead to replacing one model with another, they introduce diversity. It brings them as Ulrich Beck says “an unfinished process of individualization of women”, or according to Kathleen Gerson “an unfinished revolution of a new generation to shaping family, work, gender”, but also the preferences of women themselves as Catherine Hakim notes.
