Summary/Abstract: The validity of a will means that the act of last will of the testator will fulfill the general formal conditions of the will as well as the specific conditions of the chosen concrete will. We analyzed in the present study the general formal conditions of the will, respectively the written form, as well as the interdiction of the mutual will and finally we presented the sanctions applicable in case of non-compliance with the imposed legal conditions.
