Jews in the rural space - the Jews' manors

Summary/Abstract: The article is an analysis of two publications of recollections that may be interpreted as a record of a certain variant of Jewish identity, a specific variant ties to rural space. The texts recorded in post-WWII times appear as strategies of reconstructing an identity, composite, divided, ununiform as it was, of the Polish Jews inhabiting landed estates.
