Summary/Abstract: The article looks at a debate that was going on on the pages of the Polish-Jewish daily Nasz Przegląd in the years 1938-1939, focused on two principal issues: the deportations of Polish Jews from Germany and the act on stripping of citizenship, debated and adopted by the parliament of the Polish 2nd Republic. Both matters can be seen as crucial experience for the Polish Jewish milieu on the eve of the war disaster.
