Summary/Abstract: The article presents indexing languages being used in the Warsaw University Library OPAC in both metainformation and retrieval functions. The author discusses briefly history of indexing in the WUL, and the indexing languages being used currently: KABA, LCSH, KBK. She describes the modest ICT solution – application of the Chamo software in communication with the users.
