Summary/Abstract: Public administration realizes many processes with information management tools. The latter are applied to proper recognition and usage of organizational information resources. Information management is responsible for information usage in decision-making processes. It is different to knowledge management. The latter includes the whole process of reliable information processing and application. Knowledge, as opposed to information, is rooted in experiences, opinions, and expectations of the users – this results in the need of knowledge sharing. Public administration runs numerous activities timing in knowledge development, like collection and accumulation of information, its ordering and dissemination. The article presents the problem of knowledge resources’ management in the context of ICT tools development (eGovernment).
