Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the restoration and conservation process of several archaeological items dating from the XVII-th-XIX-th centuries, discovered during the investigations carried by “Paul Păltănea” History Museum in the protection area of St. Nicolae Church of Galați. The restaured items are several Turkish, Hungarian and Polish coins, earrings, rings, a clasp, several buckles, buttons, nails, spikes.
