Summary/Abstract: The article is an attempt to describe the criminal trilogy by Zygmunt Miłoszewski (Uwikłanie,Ziarno prawdy, Gniew) based on the traditional and modern, obligatory and optional featuresof the crime novel. In the description the elements of structural analysis were used and thepossibilities of studying the crime novel as a narrative about society in the context of everydaylife, relations with the place, the sphere of the intertextual and intermedial references wereoutlined.
