Summary/Abstract: The Life of the Father Amandus is a biography of Henry Suzo, Dominican mystic, who lived in the 16th century. This text is the monument of medieval Polish language. It was translated from the earlier Latin composition, which was written by father Felix Fabri OP on the ground of the German biography. Nowadays it is known by a few scientists only from the 19th transliteration, made by Ignacy Polkowski. In order to be accessible for the greater number of readers, it should be transcribed. In this paper you can find the transcription of two fragments of this text. These fragments contain a description, how Amandus celebrated the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord in the Temple and how he meditated or prayed for the stations of the Way of the Cross. They also indicate, which kind of texts blessed father consideredthen. In this paper we try to give analysis of these songs, prayers and readings. Kind of spirituality, which is visible in them, is christocentric, but it is also connected with Mother of Christ, Saint Mary.
