Summary/Abstract: The Open Access movement has been expanding for 10 years. Electronic archives aiming primarily at provision of free, fast, and open access to knowledge for all Internet users are created according to this idea. The Eprints for Library and Information Science (E-LIS) represents one of such archives, including also Polish texts since 2005. The article presents general rules of placing publications in this repository, searching options, as well as results of statistical and thematic analysis of Polish materials. The author evaluates this set regarding frequency of publication, issue date, types of documents, and the most popular topics.
