Summary/Abstract: This paper includes an overview of the last collection of poems by Wisława Szymborska titled Wystarczy (It is enough), which includes 13 complete works and 6 fragments. The dominant style of these texts can be described as aphoristic. The poet applies various forms of lyrical narration, with the allegorical level remaining the major one. A signifi cant role is played by anthropomorphism. The finesse of expressions goes hand in hand with the simplicity and succinctness of syntax that does not shun the contemporary enumeration technique. The syntax of these texts can be metaphorically called “perverse”, full of plays on words and paradoxes.
