Summary/Abstract: Empirical evidence on risk perception and societal acceptance of autonomous of autonomous vehicle technologies has been scarcely documented in the literature. Using and replicating data from ANSYS, Atomik Research, Capgemini, Ipsos, Kennedys, McKinsey, and Pew Research Center, we performed analyses and made estimates regarding reasons the public do (not) support the use of fully autonomous vehicles. Data were analyzed using structural equation modeling.
