Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to determine the epistemological status of various types of sentences occurring in the role of axioms, thesis and hypothesis in scientific theories, including management sciences. The study includes the division of judgments into analytical and synthetic as well as the division into judgments about individual entities and collective entities. Achieving the goal is conditioned by the use of the following research methods: critical analysis of the literature, logical analysis, and the design method. The first part of the study presents the essence and structure of scientific theory in contrast to practice and theories devoid of the characteristic of science. The second part of the study presents a conventionalist classification of reasonings and based on it a terminological convention concerning the most important elements of scientific theories, i.e. axioms, theses and hypotheses was proposed. The next chapter presents the classification of judgments and presents reasoning aimed at determining the epistemological status of selected types of sentences that appear as the axiom, thesis or hypothesis in scientific theories.
