Basic issues in translation of finacial articles from German to Slovak language from the didactic perspective

Summary/Abstract: This paper briefly describes the basic features of economic articles in Slovak context and focuses on the analysis of problems concerning about translation of financial articles from German to Slovak. The author deals with the problems of translation of specific specialized terminology, translatological matter of finance English, metaphor and figurative expressions. The article analyses the depicted translatological problems in the context of didactics of translation and it is aimed to practical preparation of students for specialized translation.
