Summary/Abstract: Thus far, Romanian justice has not initiated investigations to hold accountable those responsible for committing crimes against humanity during the communist period, thus being able to state that, on this matter, I.V. Stalin’s principle still applies, respectively: "The death of a man is a tragedy but the death of a million people is a mere statistic".
