Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to the analysis of markers of epistemic responsibility in the discourse on migrants based on the material of German, Austrian, Slovak and Russian journalistic texts. Special attention is paid to the correlation of the epistemic responsibility of the newspaper communication subject, i.e. his desire to transmit reliable information, and the journalist’s axiological assessments in relation to the events described in newspaper publications on the massive influx of migrants into the EU and their secondary acculturation in 2015 – 2018.
