Running away from the Rozafa's Complex

Summary/Abstract: There is a methodology in social sciences that uses modernism to discover the traditional and traditional in reading modernism. It means reading modernism by using tradition and vice versa. Relying on this mode of judgment we would like to focus on the role that institutional factors play in establishing tolerance in social relationships in Albania. Referring to the Rozafa`s legend, running away from intolerance would be presented as running away from Rozafa`s complex, just like the child who through education tries to run away from incest by running away from the Oedipus` complex. In this way, the whole transition period in Albania would be considered as a flight from the Rozafa`s complex.
