Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this article is to comprehensively analyse the institution of extended forfeiture stated in Article 45 § 2 of the Polish Criminal Code. In addition to a detailed analysis of the aforementioned institution, the authors broadly discuss its international perspective. Evaluation of Polish solutions is not limited to the criminal law system and the constitutional standard but also takes into account regulations in force in other European countries. The article ends with conclusions and de lege ferenda propositions made by the authors.
