Translation modification of nominative and communicative units

based on proverbs, sayings and riddle

Summary/Abstract: The nominative and communicative units are being dealt with in wordcentric and textocentric approaches. The linguistic criteria are backgrounded by attributes of referents. Investigated words and texts are extracted from the English and Ukrainian discourses. The dominant ontognoseological principle is being verified by the verbal statistic experiments. The nature of translation referents backgrounds the choice of applied methods. The verbal and mathematic statistics visualize the results of this experiment.
