Evaluation of the government bill amending the Act on the Polish Academy of Sciences

Summary/Abstract: The bill aims to introduce new rules for the remuneration of researchers employed at the units of the Polish Academy of Science. In the opinion of the authors, the proposed introduction of an analogous method of remuneration for these employees as is the case of other public universities raises significant doubts due to the scope of duties of employees of public universities, which is broader compared to the didactic activities of employees of scientific units of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
