Summary/Abstract: The exhibition, presented at the “St. St. Cyril and Methodius” National Library, tells the Bulgarian church movement story and the creation and rise of the Bulgarian Exarchy. The Exarchy is a national socio-political representation of the Bulgarian people in its struggles to resolve the national liberation process. In addition to religious-educational and social goals, the Exarchy also performs purely political tasks. The most important function of the Exarchy is its central role for national uniication, for raising the national idea, for the national question at all.
