Summary/Abstract: The aim of this paper is to present a qualitative study using a focus-group method applied to a group of educators in aprivate nature-oriented school in Romania (Green School Romania), with the purpose of identifying ecological friendlybehavioral models, values and virtues shown by children in relation to the natural environment. The importance of thisinterdisciplinary study is related to the pedagogical philosophy of the above mentioned Romanian school, which isexperiential environment-oriented education, a holistic approach to environmental ethics, considered as a moraleducation for sustainability, trust and care for life and nature.
