Summary/Abstract: In the following discussion, the author analyses the percentage and role of lawyers in the Slovenian political life from the end of the 19th century to the beginning of World War II in Slovenia. He initially provides a comparative presentation of the considerable percentage of lawyers among politicians while paying particular attention to the Members of Parliament and the Ministers and then illustrates his research with the percentage of lawyers in other areas as well (among mayors, committee members, party officials, Bans, and so on). On these foundations, the author presents a collective biography of lawyer politicians in the continuation of the article.
