Summary/Abstract: This study is designed to examine the relationships between work-family balance, burnout and job satisfaction in terms of X and Y generation comparatively. In the research, the literature on the concept of generation, job satisfaction, burnout and work life balance is given and in the last part, the relationships between burnout, job satisfaction and work life balance of the employees of different generations are examined within the scope of the survey research. Data was collected from a convenient sample of 281 of private bank employees in Istanbul by using the online survey. In the study, data were collected using a questionnaire including Job-Family Life Conflict Scale, Burnout Scale, Job Satisfaction Scale and socio-demographic characteristics. In this research, the effects of the variables on each other have been determined in line with linear models. According to the first hypothesis test, the effect of work-family balance on job satisfaction is positive and moderate for both generation X and generation Y. In addition, the effect of work-family balance was found to be stronger for the Y generation.
