Summary/Abstract: In this contribution the author presents a batch of archaeological materials belonging to the well-known roman town of Romula (Reşca, Olt County), discovered during the excavation campaign of 2018. Although the Neolithic habitation layer is quite thick (between 1.5 and 3.5 m in some areas), only one small pit filled with daub fragments was documented. Some aspects such as pottery typology and technology, positioning the Neolithic site of Romula in a wider context and habitation dynamic in the Lower Olt area are discussed.
