Summary/Abstract: Following our activity in Romania, this French-Moldavian project is focused habitation dynamics and on the choice of site implantation from the early Neolithic to the end of the Chalcolithic. Using a series of GIS analyses that integrate the available natural resources (water, soil, salt), the study wishes to highlight the evolution of how the territory was occupied and the interdependence relations between archaeological settlements (mega-sites, villages, ranches, sheepfolds, etc.).
