BRIEF CONSIDERATIONS REGARDING CONFLICT OF INTEREST

Summary/Abstract: Conflict of interest involves a conflict between the duty to the public and private interests of a public official. If the public official acts both as a public official and as a private person, he can inadequate influence the performance of official duties and responsibilities. Here's the conflict of interest has become a matter discussed and followed up increasingly more often. This article aims to make a brief analysis of the theory of conflict of interest both in terms of the Law no. 161/2003 and the Law no. 176/2010, and from the point of view of criminal law.
