Summary/Abstract: The real warranties which protect the carrier against the insolvability of debtors transportation cost are the right of retention and the carrier’s privilege, as well as the conventional mortgage of movable property and the pledge, as regulated by the Civil Code provisions, which reshaped the legal status of the real warranty for movable property, thus ensuring a consistent and coherent framework in the field.
