Summary/Abstract: Education appeared once the first human communities were constituted. First of all, it had rudimentary features which consisted in teaching rules of behavior, language and working skills, from generation to generation. Afterwards, it constituted into a more organized framework, meaning the foundation of the first schools. Thus, the educational ideals started to be drafted. Through the notion of educational ideal it is understood the outlook on education that a community has, at a certain moment. So, the educational ideal changed along the time, due to the influence of religious, social, political, economic and psychological factors.
