Summary/Abstract: Weaving, weft and warp two yarn groups called the top and bottom of each other are formed by passing the surface. Woven fabric design is a method in which technical factors and aesthetic factors complement each other. Aesthetic factors are the values formed by color, shape and texture elements, which are the appearance characteristics of the fabric. Technical factors include raw materials, fineness, color and texture of the fabric, weaving technique, color plans, knitting. In this study, various weaves and patterns are designed by using parameters such as yarn, thickness, color and visuality in weaving design. As a theme, the difficulties and complexity in life were handled and life was tried to be reflected in the designs as a spiny, narrow, awned, bumpy way. Plaid, herringbone, honeycomb patterns were used for this purpose. Different product designs have been made in order to reveal the appearance of basic and derivative knits on the fabric surface as three dimensional and bulky surfaces. By using two different colors in the designs, the effect of the texture on the fabric surface rather than the effect of color was tried to be seen, and a study was made on the three dimensional visual effects of the textures designed from fantasy and derivative weaves on the hand loom.
