Summary/Abstract: In this study, it is aimed to convey the history of Bulgarian, political developments, cultural interactions, Bulgarian art history, Bulgarian painting artists and their reflections through art works. Bulgaria, Turkey, which neighbors the northwestern border, located within Europe, located in religiosity of close relations with Russia throughout the history of art and culture, is a country where the rule of the Ottoman Empire for centuries. Bulgarians who have fought many wars, revolts and revolutions in their history have reflected all these events to their cultural and artistic lives. Nowadays, there is a tendency in which real boundaries disappear, national values are denied, tradition is rejected and universal values are given importance. However, there will be no future without the past. This study is important in terms of proving the contribution of the society to the formation by considering all the factors that are effective in the formation of art and art products of a society.
