Summary/Abstract: The concepts of perception and space are scientific concepts that form the common point of ever branch of art. These concepts form the important elements of a painful process for the artist. Perception is one of the basic elements of the artist’s composition. The concept of perception is directly related with the artitst’s intelligibility and it is a situation about the intelligence level of the people who perceive it. Therefore for these concepts to enliven on a strong ground, there is a need for a society with strong perception level. But, there are artists and works of art that are not understood in the age they exist. They may be accepted or understood better by the next generations. It is important that the universal language used by the artist form the general norms of art and reflect its basic principles and rules. To understand percetion and space better, studies of various scientists are determinative and guide. In this article, the concepts of perception and space are viewed by scientist and artist perspectives and evaluations about the topic are included.
