Summary/Abstract: The profession of pottery has been an important cultural heritage and craft in Anatolia since the Neolithic Period. Pottery has a wide usage area and product range as an indispensable material obtained as a result of baking and producing clay for millennia. This craft, which responds to the ever-changing needs of societies, continues to exist today, but is rapidly diminishing in some regions. However, there are craftsmen in our country who have devoted themselves to the profession of pottery and are trying to find life again. In this study, information about the works of Ahmet Taşhomcu, who deals with the potting profession and uses different techniques, is compiled. In addition, it is aimed to draw attention to the potting profession and the existence of masters who have devoted themselves to this profession.
