Pedagogical Dimension of the Work of Blessed Hanna Chrzanowska (1902-1973)

Summary/Abstract: Support offered to ill people by H. Chrzanowska had a pedagogical dimension which found its manifestation in her educational activity among nurses, her direct support offered to ill people and care for her own development. A method which she used at work fell into the category of meeting, dialogue and real involvement. Moreover, axiology and a personalistic reference which assumes respect for human dignity played a significant role in Chrzanowska’s work. She became a role model. The major source of her motivation for supporting others was her faith in God.
