SOME CONSIDERATIONS REGARDING TRAFFICKING IN WEAPONS AND RADIOACTIVE MATERIALS

Summary/Abstract: Legally, terrorist groups and criminal organizations can not take possession of these materials only with great difficulty because of the restrictive regime imposed by the state for the production , possession, transport and sale . However, both internationally and nationally there is a “ black market “ that makes it possible , in particular, the sale of prohibited products. With the aim of obtaining profit, criminal organizations are very active in black market for radioactive materials and weapons, as illegal activities bring significant profits
