CONTEXTUALIZATION OF PERSONALITY INVENTORIES - TECHNIQUE FOR IMPROVING PERSONNEL SELECTION AND THE NEED FOR CRISIS COMMUNICATION

Summary/Abstract: Persoonel slection represents an area in need for legislation in our country. Some progresse have been registered, especially to how selection should be conducted. Regarding information types (predictors, measuring tools) personnel selection involves, legislative gaps still need to be covered. Present paper reveals some possible effects personality constructs and its measurements through inventories may influence the validity of the selection process. Contextualization may be an alternative to improve personality measurement, yet waiting for legal reglementation.
