Summary/Abstract: Tectonic changes happen in the last years after the annexation of Crimea into Russia as two separate components of the Federation, the peninsula and the city of Sevastopol. NATO reaction was made in two successive summits, the first in Newport Wales, September 20141, with re-insurance policy, and Warsaw 20162,with Defense and Deterrence. In view of the Brussels summit, there’s a request to pass at the third generation of responses to security challenges in the East and the Containment and Dissuasion could be the next level.Partners could become more important in the process and the defense of the separation line in Donbass a new objective.
