Summary/Abstract: In this article the author analyzes the main documents adopted by the Kremlin administration in the last decade: the National Security Strategy of the Russian Federation until 2020 (2009), Military Doctrine(2014), the National Security Strategy of 2015. The main objective of these documents is the Moscow`s desire to be recognized as a great world power, which posseses the necessary capabilities to ensure strategic stability worldwide.
