Taxation of posted workers during the COVID-19 pandemic

Summary/Abstract: The COVID-19 pandemic has forced authorities to take unprecedented measures in their attempt to limit the spread of the virus, such as restricting travel and implementing strict quarantine measures. As a result, numerous workers have been unable to perform their work activities in the country where they usually did. This difficult context has also raised employment taxation issues. We will present, in this text, the impact that the COVID-19 crisis has had on the activity performed by posted workers and the tax treatment which applies to the employment income
