Summary/Abstract: Suvermez Village of Nevşehir province, Derinkuyu district, which is selected as the study area, is located in the center of Cappadocia Region. The region has been able to survive from the past to the present and has been considered with its cultural heritage values. The architectural heritage, which reflects the synthesis of the differences of the local people who lived in the past such as belief, life, language, religion, culture, ethnicity, preserves its special place even though it has been partially damaged in the historical process. In this study, the architectural features of traditional works in which stone masters of the period exhibited fine craftsmanship, were examined. Although each building has a unique identity, it is a whole in terms of structures. When the areas selected are examined, it is understood that Suvermez Village, which has qualified architectural features, has a building typology with almost the same feature as the district Derinkuyu. Although civil and monumental architectural structures show similarities in terms of local material usage, number of floors, facade opening, approach, they differ in mass dimensions. The method used in this study, which aims to analyze the building properties in the region selected; on-site observations, literature reviews and archive research studies. As a result, it is thought that by emphasizing the unique value of historical textures, documentation and conservation studies should be increased significantly, rural areas should be protected and kept alive as a whole, in accordance with today's conservation approach.
