The Views Taken by Exegesis Sources on the Mechanism of Getting Izzet (Dignity) and Mulk (Domination) through Related Verses and an Evaluation on the Effect of Sâlih Amel (Suitable Labor) over This Mechanism

Summary/Abstract: In our study it is discussed that how izzet (dignity) and mulk (domination) concepts are presented in Qur’an wording and what manner of getting izzet and mulk is conceived in exegesis sources. Within this scope the verses associated with getting izzet and mulk are examined. Besides, the tenth verse of Fâtır surah is studied in a detailed manner in comparison to others. Depending on its central position, the concepts of this verse are included in the scope of conceptual framework. In this context, the concepts of izzet, mulk, amel (labor), sâlih (suitable) and kelime (word) are viewed in the limited space of this article. In the first place a general frame is drawed for these concepts and after then the aspect of them which is supporting for the thesis of this study is mentioned. Because of the fact that these concepts are subjects for many studies, no fewer than them, the classical dictionaries and exegesis sources are based.
