Summary/Abstract: Drug trafficking is an international problem with growing links to other criminal activities. Social costs of drugs include property crime (generally committed to support a habit), health problems, disrespect for the law, family disruption, spouse and children abuse, financial crises for user and adverse psychological effects on individuals.
