Summary/Abstract: In the Turkish Language Institute (TDK) dictionary art is defined as ‘the totality of methods used in the expression of a feeling, design, beauty, or the superior creativity as a result of this narrative’. Art has passed through many stages until today, and as a result numerous different currents have emerged. Art can no longer be perceived as a form purely to be viewed. Many artists make their works together with the audience, so the audience can be as active as an artist on the piece. The artists who remove the spectator-work interaction from the position of observing by using many different methods and techniques, are able to ensure that the audience takes part in the work. In short, many artists present their works with the audience or the realization of the work depends on the activity of the audience. In such studies, while the artist takes part in the process itself, sometimes she is content with giving preliminary information and gives the audience the process. The main objective of this study is to analyze the works of the artists who have used the audience as intermediaries to complete their creations within the context of their technical, form, expression aspects. The data obtained from the Internet as well as books and articles on the subject were used for this article. The production process of the work of art is discussed through examples, by introducing such working artists and their works.
